Programs By Brett Barker, Professor of History

Professor Brett Barker began his teaching career on the Wausau campus, then UW-Marathon County, in 2004. His primary historical research interests are in the northern home front during the Civil War and Wisconsin soldiers during the Civil War.

Programs By Kathy Volkmann and Linda Forbess

Longtime volunteers Kathy Volkmann and Linda Forbess have a combined 75 years of experience as curators at the Marathon County Historical Society, managing the artifact and textile collections. Whether their programs are instructional or just for fun, Kathy and Linda give a unique perspective to local and family history topics.
